September 11 was notable to me because it was 4 months since I first planted in my hoop house. Below is a link to the fourth monthly update since the planting – and what a four months it has been! For the first time in my life, I am inundated with ripe tomatoes and peppers – almost more than Annie and I can manage – but we are managing happily by drying, freezing, salsa-ing, and soon to come, saucing.
For those of you whose hot weather vegetables struggle because of too much cold, wet, or foggy weather, consider the joys of a hoop house!
